This project explores emotional paralysis; the quiet weight of overthinking, hesitation, and self-doubt. It didn't began with a clear idea, but with the feeling of being stuck, unable to act. Instead of resisting it, I chose to stay with it and observe its rhythm, repetition, and silence.

Through painting, I tried to translate this stillness into physical form. A phone on a pillow, a broken plate, my body scrolling in bed, familiar moments that hold the pressure of time, expectation, and uncertainty.

The work became a way to honour slowness, allowing doubt to take up space, and to suggest that stillness is not empty, but something shared, lived, and worth seeing.
